Relying on the expertise with Apache’s Spark framework, RavStack developed a customised recommendation system based on Artificial Intelligence for the customers.
The system worked by studying the past user behaviour and matching it with the standard user behaviour to give out the best and most intelligent recommendations for the travel plans.
Apart from this, the system also recommended the preferable links to develop with some particular people either to know more about the location or to take along for better companionship.
RavStack’s team chose ASP.NET framework to build a highly scalable travel portal solution. We chose this framework as the base, for it is compatible with the majority of web browsers and other web services, which boast the integration capabilities.
To add on, RavStack used Microsoft AJAX.NET library to remove the pebbles from the development of new components of the portal and for future modifications. The team also made the use of Mobius for Spark-based recommendation integration with the .NET-based gateway.
The solution so constructed under the roof of RavStack included all the requirements of the client integrated within. Moreover, Artificial Intelligence recommendations became the icing on the cake.
Through the integration of social features, customers were able to organise more trips with the groups, which reaped additional benefits to the client.
